No, we do not have real time inventory. This is because we have thousands of different items. It would take years to provide an accurate inventory count on each item. We do try to keep the postings updated on the website if they are available, sometimes items may be out of stock and we do not have a record of that until a customer orders.
Customer service does contact the customers ASAP when an item is out of stock either by phone call or email. We then update the website to show the item out of stock or remove it from the website.

Our shipping promotion is offered depending on the weight and the value of your order. Orders with a total cost of $100-$299 receive a discount on shipping, this is a 10 pound credit. Packages weighing 10 pounds or less will ship for free.
Orders with a total cost of $300 or more receive a 30 pound credit. Packages weighing 30 pounds or less will ship for free.
Anything over the 10 pounds or 30 pounds you are charged the difference. For example, on a package weighing 11 pounds you would only be charged for 1 pound of shipping.
Surplus Sales of Nebraska also determines the shipping method which is the most economical form of shipping available.
The shipping discount is only offered within the 48 continental states. If you have questions regarding this please feel free to email us.
We currently do not charge out of state sales tax. However, we are required to charge sales tax on orders in the state of Nebraska based on local taxes and state taxes.

Surplus Sales does not accept the return of any merchandise without prior authorization. We strive to describe parts accurately and show actual photos on the website of the part you are purchasing. Sometimes a part just doesn't fit! We understand and will do our best to resolve the situation.
Some electronic parts may not be returnable under any circumstances if we cannot verify they are in the same, new condition as when they were shipped. Others may have a 15 day return window effective from the date you receive the package.
You MUST obtain a return authorization number from Surplus Sales prior to return. This number must appear on the package near the mailing label. If the number is not clearly identified when the package arrives, it will be refused.
Returns are not accepted on a C.O.D. basis. We recommend for your protection, that all parcels be insured. All merchandise returned under our authorization is subject to a 20% restock fee (or a minimum $ 7.00 charge) and must be in the original condition as shipped.
New or copied manuals, wire, sleeving, and tubing cut to your order, hardline connectors, sweep tubes, semi-conductors, squirrel cages for blowers or other parts described on website are not returnable.
If you do not understand any part of this policy or want to inquire whether the parts you are purchasing qualify for return, please contact Customer Service. Surplus Sales does not agree to blanket terms set forth in Purchase Orders.
Any waivers from this policy must be in writing from the President.

-Wire Transfer: Transfer funds from your bank to ours, please contact us for simple instructions. Please note, there is a $25.00 charge on all domestic wire transfers and a $45.00 charge on all international wire transfers.
-ACH Bank Payment: Transfer funds from your bank to ours, please contact us for simple instructions. This payment method is very similar to wire transfer but does require a 24 hour hold before the order is shipped. There is no fee for ACH payments.
No, some items are not returnable. Contact customer service via email to see if your item is returnable.
You may email customer service at customerservice@surplussales.com and describe what is damaged. We do ask for pictures of the item and if it was damaged via shipping that you send a picture of the condition the box was in. ALWAYS keep any packing material and the box the item(s) shipped in. This is usually required to file a successful damage claim with the carrier.
Prices do not include sales tax. All items subject to prior sale. All prices subject to change without notice, we will email you about any price changes. Some items may be one-of-a-kind.
Items priced below $1.00 each may be required to be purchased in sufficient quantity to equal or exceed $1.00 for the line item.
In short we do not have a tech department to troubleshoot the parts we sell. However, we do have knowledgeable staff that may be able to assist you. We do recommend you sending us an email with the questions you may have.

Unfortunately, we do not have access to such fees that may be acquired while shipping internationally. The fees are solely decided by each individual country.

Continental USA: All terms are F.O.B. Omaha. We do not assume responsibility for shipping costs. Surplus Sales strives to use the lowest cost shipping per individual order. Those charges are passed directly to each customers order. We have strived not to charge flat or average shipping rates to save out customers money!
Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico: Ground, 2nd Day or Next Day UPS Air are available. Alternate carriers such as US Mail could be considered.
International Customers: US Postal along with your local mail service. While prices are the best of any carriers, delivery times may vary. Please note in the special instructions box (bottom of shipping page) if you wish to chose another carrier for international reliability.
Please contact us for accurate shipping costs or if you are sending payment in advance. Be sure to give complete mailing instructions including address, country, telephone number and details you wish considered for customs.
