Elgar uninterruptable power supply. In it's day, delivered 41.6 amps of current for up to 8 hours. Includes static by pass switch.

This UPS is designed to be on-line 100% of the time, supplying all system power. In this mode, there is no switch over time because you are on-line. This is the preferred mode, but power consumption is slightly higher than running on standby (i.e. 0.68 amps input, 41 amps output). Optionally, it can be run in switch mode and come on-line quickly in the event of a brown/black out.

This system was removed from service in working condition in 1997. Included is a "load" for testing off line. This consists of an electric furnace on casters, with a cord that plugs directly into UPS. Also included are spare parts and manuals. Shipping, moving, crating etc... is the responsibility of purchaser. Batteries are no longer part of this system.
